Always January (Randy) |
Picked up another canoe last weekend. My wife has been wanting a solo boat that she can paddle and lift herself. This is an older model Bell (the forerunner to the Magic) manufactured in the mid-90′s prior to when they were initially sold (I hear they are for sell again). The craftsmanship on the wood gunwales and decks is really beautiful, even with the bottom pretty scratched up from years of use. It’s definitely not one to turn on a dime, but going straight this is one fast canoe!
I put few more photos here on my website including the kids in our 17 foot Navarro Loon that I was paddling solo while my wife tried out the Traveler. It was a nice day to be on the water and try out a new canoe. |

Nice looking boat. I saw all the photos in the set, looked like a lot of fun on the water.
