Your Reply (You can delete this line)..c p skeates..as australia is basicaly in drought all the time now canoeing has been mainly in lakes or down the coast in the esturies ..many people carry a sea conoe on their vehicles as a sport now as the old camping and canoeing easy days are numbered by fire patrol and just silly banning of camping so a swag and an inflatable canoe are stealthy enough ..fishing has begun to wail because super phosphate has just about killed all the ecology of our rivers by farmers so to find natural places like 50 years ago is almost inpossible ..building our own canoes was fabulous but eventhat is too expencive so just bying a second hand one does the perpose ..i have always had a fantacy of building a proper eskimo kyac with wood and canvas for it is foldupable as well and is interesting as well..i always evnvied the traditional redindians of america with a tee-pee and a lake and a canoe and mountains covered with snow and trout in the streems ..australia has imported all its fish but it must have been fabulous back in the wild west days of usa ..we have the bush but its either being chopped out or burnt off but its definately not romantic bushman days of old any more .a billy and a campfire and a river …we are allowed to use our local pool for canoeing practice if its clean to practice eskimo rolls .. |

I think some of the romantic images we have of the past are just illusions created in films. We are lucky to have some great national parks here in the US and we can still find a lazy river or two to go canoeing on. It’s hard where I live to get beyond the sound of a highway. I’ve been lucky enough to see parts of the west and the open spaces there. We have too much urban sprawl here people want to move out of the city but then demand all their little strip malls and gas stations on every corner, turning the place they moved to into the place they moved from. We want proper outdoor experiences but often lack the time to go to the places where we would be able to find them. |

Hi cp skeates, I hope there would be lots of fishing chances. Could you provide me some fish information, which are available in this river? |
