If you know of rivers that meander enough to have the put-in and take-out points within a mile of each other, please post here.  The one I know about is the Au Train River in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula — Class I  about 4 hours

Rivers that meander that much are usually so slow that they can be easily paddled upstream. Typically unless I have a shuttle or cannot paddle upriver I don’t worry about shuttle.

Michigan is beautiful paddling country. I envy you.

Some of the rivers that have put-in and take-out points are Bhote Koshi, Trisuli, Sunkoshi, Marshyangdi, Kali Gandaki, Seti and Karnali are the rivers that are in Nepal and are very famous for rafting, kayaking, Sightseeing and many other adventurous activities can be done at Nepal. As Nepal is the second richest country in water resource you have many water sports to do in Nepal. But as you have to go in some rural areas for this sports its better to have your own
Canopy because you never know where can be your rest point in the tour. I have been to Nepal twice and had many adventurous activities already done there like bungee jumping, kayaking, hiking and jungle safari.

natecanoes:  You are so right.  Michigan is beautiful paddling country.  And, since I’m at the western end of the Upper Peninsula, I get the beauty of northern Wisconsin and Minnesota, too.

oe bhai:  Nepal sounds beautiful, too.  Alas, I am a poor public servant so can only visit virtually.
